The LGBTQ+ Commission addresses matters relating to the LGBTQ+ community such as education, empowerment, equal rights, hate crimes prevention and domestic partner rights, and makes recommendations to Council relative to the adoption of programs, policies, or ordinances of benefit to the constituency. All Board meetings are open to the public.

Please note that the December 2024 meeting of the LGBTQ+ Commission has been moved from Thursday, December 12, 2024 to Thursday, December 5th, 2024 with approval from the LGBTQ+ Commission at the November 2024 Meeting. Also note that the Thursday December 5th, 2024 meeting will be held at Plummer Park Community Rooms 5 & 6.
