The Calendar features a comprehensive schedule of City of West Hollywood meetings and City-sponsored events. In order to ensure accuracy, only listings for the current month appear on the Calendar. (Past events remain listed, as well.) The following month's Calendar listings are typically added during the last week of the month prior.

Planning Commission Meeting

The Planning Commission was created on December 5, 1985 and consists of five (5) members, appointed by individual Council members, and two (2) members appointed by the Council as a whole (at-large).  Each member of the Commission shall serve a two-year term commencing June 1st following a general municipal election.  Members shall be residents of the City and shall not be officers or employees of the City.

Meetings of the Planning Commission are held on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 6:30 p.m. and are televised live on WeHo TV  (Captioned for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing)

TO PARTICIPATE IN-PERSON:
The Planning Commission public meeting, commission members, city staff, and members of the public will participate in Council Chambers located at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard, West Hollywood, California 90069.  Members of the public have the option to participate via teleconference using the Zoom platform.  The meeting may also be viewed on various platforms.  Please visit www.weho.org/wehotv for all the viewing options.

If you'd like to address the Planning Commission in person on any item appearing on the agenda, please use the QR code located in the rear of Council Chambers to sign up to speak, or use the Speaker Request Form.

 

IF YOU'D LIKE TO PROVIDE WRITTEN COMMENT:
Members of the public are encouraged to comment on matters before the Planning Commission.  You may submit an email to: pcpubliccomments@weho.org no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Planning Commission meeting day. Your comments and information will become part of the official public record.  If you do not want your personal information included in the official record, please do not include your address and/or phone number.

Note:  E-Comments received by 4:00 p.m. will be forwarded to the Planning Commission and posted on the City’s website as part of the official meeting record.

 

TO PARTICIPATE BY PROVIDING PUBLIC COMMENTS BY TELEPHONE:
This option is to provide public comment via phone ONLY

  1. You must sign-up to speak no later than 4:00 p.m. on the day of the Planning Commission meeting to be added to the Zoom Public Speaker List.
    Please note: the Planning Commission Secretary or staff cannot respond to emails during the meeting.  This means that email requests made to speak by phone on additional agenda items during the meeting cannot be accommodated during the live broadcast of the meeting.

  2. Sign-up to speak via the Speaker Request Form, or send your name, the phone number you will be calling from, and which item you wish to speak on to: pcpubliccomments@weho.org

  3. Dial-in 10 minutes prior to the start of the meeting (the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.)
    Dial in Codes:  *6 = unmute
    Dial in Codes:  *9 = lets the host know you want to speak on the current item

    Meeting I.D.:  You must sign-up to speak

YOUR PHONE WILL BE MUTED UNTIL YOU ARE CALLED TO SPEAK.  Comments from the public are limited to 3 minutes per speaker.


TO VIEW THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING:

Planning Commission meetings are broadcast live on WeHoTV and on Spectrum Ch. 10 in West Hollywood.  You can also view on YouTube at www.youtube.com/wehotv.  WeHoTV programming is additionally available on multiple streaming platforms, including Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, and Roku.  Digital streaming platform viewers can easily find programming by searching for “WeHoTV” within the search functions of these services.  WeHoTV and Spectrum Ch. 10 are the only official viewing platforms.  The other viewing options and platforms are made available as a courtesy to viewers and their reliability cannot be assured by the city.  If you experience technical difficulties while viewing the meeting on one of these platforms, please access WeHoTV at the City’s website www.weho.org/wehotv, and visit the Planning Commission page for updated information and assistance on meeting access.
