The City of West Hollywood is co-sponsoring the Spirit Royale Drag Cheerleading Competition, which is being organized by West Hollywood Cheerleaders.

Get ready for a fabulous night of fierce competition and outrageous entertainment at West Hollywood's Spirit Royale. Prepare to witness the most dazzling display of drag queens, chorus singers, drag nuns, city council members, go-go dancers and cowboys & cowgirls battling it out for the coveted Spirit Royale Trophy. 

Brace yourself for jaw-dropping fun performances, sassy routines, and plenty of glitter. It's going to be a night you won't want to miss, so mark your calendars and come join us for a wild and unforgettable experience!  The evening is a benefit for the non-profit The Life Group LA.

The evening will have five teams competing for the Spirit Royal Trophy. The five teams are: The Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles, The LA Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,  West Hollywood City Council, Mickey’s Go-Go dancers,  LA Wranglers and Megawoof America.  Come out and cheer for your favorite team.

The event hosts are podcaster, Alexander Rodriguez and Drag Queen, Pickle with exhibition performances by the Cheer LA Squad and Celebrity Judges: Jai Rodriguez - Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Farrah Moan - Ru Paul's Drag Race Season 9, Conner Huber - UCLA Spirit Squad Coach.

This event provides an opportunity to support and raise awareness for the drag community as well as raise funds to support HIV/AIDS wellness programs. Funds raised from the event will benefit the mission of Life Group LA, a West Hollywood organization, that was founded in 2005 that supports HIV/AIDs wellness free of charge for the community.

This in-person event will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 at The Abbey located at 692 N Robertson Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069.
