Join us in a conversation highlighting the work of Tim Sullivan. Tim is a true West Hollywood hero. Ever since opening the candle shop in West Hollywood 25 years ago, Tim employs homeless and newly sober people each holiday season to help pour thousands of candles ordered by the rich and famous in Tinseltown. Tim has been sober since 1981, and he’s never lost the spark to serve his community.
Relighting Candles: The Tim Sullivan Story, a short documentary by Zeberiah Newman and Michiel Thomas executive produced by Ben Falcone and Melissa McCarthy, chronicles the 82-year-old Sullivan’s inspiring journey from alcoholism to sobriety to employing unhoused and newly sober members of his community at Timothy Jay Candles.
Adam Shankman has made a name for himself as one of the most diverse and sought-after filmmakers in Hollywood, who for nearly three decades has enjoyed success as a director, producer, choreographer, and author.
Three (3) Timothy Jay candles will be raffled off at the event! Must be in attendance to receive the gift.
