As part of the Sunset Arts and Advertising program, the City of West Hollywood’s Design Excellence Committee selected 8801 Sunset Boulevard as a top-scoring project, making the property eligible to apply for a new billboard permit. The project team is organizing a voluntary community meeting to solicit feedback on potential improvements to the rear hillside of the property as part of that application. No discussion of the billboard for the property will be held at this meeting; discussion of the billboard proposal will occur at a later point in the approval process and will include multiple public meetings held by the City of West Hollywood. This meeting is being hosted by the applicant project team specifically to receive feedback on potential improvements to the rear hillside portion of the property.

This meeting is intended to create an opportunity for neighbors to share their thoughts on potential options for the improvement of the rear hillside portion of 8801 Sunset Boulevard.  

Please note that no decision has been made on the billboard permit and no decision will be made on the billboard or the hillside at this meeting. Future notices will be sent to neighbors, as required by the City, during the public hearing process.
