Let The Devil Devour Me is a performance and collaboration between Ryan OByrne and Camila Camaléon. Originally the work was a RE-performance of scenes from film and television in which Queer and/or Trans characters were played by Cis and or Straight actors. Through the generous support of an arts grant from The City of West Hollywood and Pieter Performance Space, the work has transformed and developed into an exploration and exclamation of the desires of the work's Queer and Trans collaborators. Rather than focus on transmuting their experience through the occupation of historic scenes, the artists have instead chosen to center their own artistic process, interpreting their subjectivity through a reclamation of their own placement within abstraction and experimental performance techniques. $10 suggested donation.
