The City of West Hollywood, along with the Lev Foundation, the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, Sunset Strip Business Association Ambassadors and local licensed taxi companies will once again kick off the holiday season with the annual Don't Drink and Drive campaign. This year, the campaign will consist of over 200,000 napkins being distributed to many local restaurants and bars in West Hollywood. The napkins will have a printed message reminding patrons not to drink & drive and to use either a designated driver, the new holiday shuttle service, or a local licensed taxi cab. There will also be cards available with information of all the local licensed taxi cab companies. A new holiday shuttle will debut this year with service being offered on the weekends of December 15th - 17th, December 22nd - 24th and December 29th - 31st. Hours of operation will be from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. . For more information, please call the Public Safety Division at 323/848-6414. TTY for the deaf and hard of hearing at 323/848-6496.
Should weather be a factor, distribution will be postponed to Tuesday, December 13th.
