This Neighborhood Meeting invitation is for residents who live within 500 feet of 8001 Santa Monica Boulevard or 1105 North Laurel Avenue, West Hollywood, CA 90069. The Applicant has submitted an entitlement application and is meeting with property owners and tenants to share information about the proposed project, answer questions, and directly connect with neighbors.
The proposed project includes three independent concepts: a new, private, members-only cannabis club; a cannabis cafe open to the public, and; a modern Mediterranean restaurant featuring a lush rooftop lounge. The project includes approximately 24,810 square feet of interior space and 12,089 square feet of terraced outdoor patio space, and will be four stories tall with a subterranean parking garage.
The proposed restaurant will be located at 1105 North Laurel Avenue, and the proposed private cannabis club and public cannabis café will be located at 8001 Santa Monica Boulevard. The Property is comprised of one parcel, APN 5554-014-008, totaling approximately 12,439 square feet. The Project would demolish two vacant, single-story buildings totaling approximately 6,062 square feet previously used for retail and institutional purposes.
Onsite cannabis consumption will only be permitted within the licensed cannabis consumption areas: the cannabis members-only club and cannabis cafe, located on the first two floors. Food preparation will be physically separated from all portions of the cannabis consumption areas. The Mediterranean restaurant, including its rooftop lounge and terraced patio will be cannabis-free.
