The Planning Commission was created on December 5, 1985 and consists of five (5) members, appointed by individual Council members, and two (2) members appointed by the Council as a whole (at-large). Each member of the Commission shall serve a two-year term commencing June 1st following a general municipal election. Members shall be residents of the City and shall not be officers or employees of the City.
Meetings of the Planning Commission are held on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 6:30 p.m. and are televised live on WeHo TV (Captioned for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing)

To better facilitate the remote meeting, members of the public who wish to comment on matters before the Planning Commission are strongly encouraged to submit an email pcpubliccomments@weho.org or E-Comment, no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Planning Commission meeting day.
Any comments submitted after 4:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting, will be read aloud during the appropriate time and place on the Agenda. Please make your comments brief. Written comments submitted and read into the public record must adhere to the principles of the three-minute speaking time permitted for in-person public comment at Planning Commission meetings.
