Pride Poets – “Pledge” (typewriter poetry project)

*This event is free and does not require RSVP.

Pride Poets is back in person! Look out for LGBTQ+ poets on typewriters at a booth at West Hollywood Pride, ready to tackle all your poetic needs and create original art for you or a loved one. This year's theme is ‘Pledge: come share your allegiances with us!’

On June 11 and June 12 call 202-998-3510 and poets will be standing by to write you a custom poem over the phone! The hotline will be active from June 11, 11am-2pm, and again for the "afterhours" version from June 11 at 11pm to June 12 at 2am.

Finally, Pride Poets is releasing our first podcast, This Poem's for You, following up with poem recipients from Pride's past and writing them update poems. Look out for it this June, wherever you get your podcasts. Remember, whatever you're going through, there's a poem for that -- and this poem's for you.
