Bach | The Fifth Gospel (the5thgospel.net)

Kontrapunktus is led by renowned early music keyboardist, Dr. Ian Pritchard, and is comprised of some of the finest, young classical musicians in the world who hail from the prestigious Colburn School in Los Angeles and the renowned Juilliard School in NYC. This presentation is their fifth and final livestream concert. We celebrate the spirit of Easter through the immortal music of a composer who has often been referred to as "The Fifth Evangelist."  But rather than a pulpit, J.S. Bach had a keyboard.  His compositions transcended music with his mastery of modulation, harmony, and counterpoint.  What's more, the ethos to Bach's music spiritually resonates with people from all walks of life.

Violin Sonata in B Minor, BWV 1014
Harpsichord Concerto No. 1 in D Minor, BWV 1052
Violin Concerto in E Major, BWV 1042
