Grammy award winning Pianist, John Beasley, has performed with Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Chaka Khan, Queen Latifah, Dianne Reeves, to name a few. As a recording artist he has a dozen albums, which has earned him nine GRAMMY nominations, including six for his big band MONK'estra. He also works on film and TV projects writing, arranging and directing music specials, including blockbuster projects 1917, Finding Nemo, Skyfall and Spectre, and American Idol. Beasley is the Music Director of the Herbie Hancock Jazz institute's that hosts the International Jazz Day global concerts. In 2016, Jazz at the White House earned Beasley an Emmy nomination.
