The City of West Hollywood’s staff will host a community workshop on the Housing Element Update. The Housing Element is a policy guide that provides an indication of the need for housing in the community, particularly the availability, affordability, and adequacy of housing. It serves as a strategy to address housing needs across the economic and social spectrum. The Housing Element is a state mandated component of the City's General Plan which must be updated every eight years. The Update identifies the City's housing needs and establishes a plan to address them.
During this presentation, City staff and Rincon Consultants will provide a general update, which will include a review of community outreach and comments received to date, and an overview of the sites inventory process and draft concepts.
