The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights is the support and service organization for playwrights in Southern California, which presents programs and events to provide education, networking, resources, and opportunities for playwrights and the public. ALAP presents a range of programs and events over the course of the year -- some professional in nature, others social and networking events, still others meant to entertain and educate the public. Among these events and opportunities is the annual West Hollywood ALAP Pride Reading Festival which features staged readings of six one-act plays on June 26 (2pm to 4pm), and one featured full length play on June 27 (2pm to 4pm). This program is presented with the support of a grant from the City of West Hollywood’s Arts Division as part of the City's One City One Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival (www.weho.org/pride).
