Transgender Arts Initiative Grantee, Nahshon Dion Anderson, offers an event featuring literature, poetry, lip syncing, and dance by Trans artists. Join us for discussions on the impacts of artists Jody Ray and Miss Kiwi and a solo dance performance by Gia Banks. “Honoring our Trancestors” transcends time and boundaries and is counternarrative to the multitude of dehumanizing stories and deaths currently popularizing the media regarding Transwomen of Color. This program is presented in part by an arts grant from the City of West Hollywood.
