September 2011 marks the 22nd observance of National Drug & Alcohol Recovery Month. The observance celebrates people in recovery and lauds the work of treatment providers. The City Council of the City of West Hollywood will acknowledge the work of its substance abuse treatment providers, specifically the West Hollywood Recovery Center, at its September 6th meeting and proclaim September as Recovery Month. In addition, copies of the City’s updated Substance Use Services Guide will be available at the Council meeting and subsequently at City Hall and at the City’s collaborative Social Service agencies.
