The City of West Hollywood will present a free informational virtual community forum called Social Isolation and Loneliness in the Time of COVID-19:

The Importance of Connection on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Discussion topics will include:

  • Signs and symptoms of social isolation and loneliness and the difference between them.
  • Impact of COVID-19 on the prevalence of social isolation & loneliness.
  • Demographics of community members experiencing social isolation and loneliness.
  • The importance of social connections and how best to foster their development.
  • Programming and services provided by the City and its contracted and collaborative partners that create social connections.

The forum is open to community members, Social Service providers’ staff and clients and other interested individuals.
