Join the City of West Hollywood for “How to Get Appointed to a City Board or Commission”, a free workshop offered at the City of West Hollywood Women’s free virtual Women’s Leadership Conference on August 24th from 5:30 pm – 7 pm.

Ever wonder how to get appointed to a city board or commission? Come learn how to serve your community in a rewarding way as an appointed official! The workshop will be facilitated by City Clerk Yvonne Quarker and Assistance City Clerk Melissa Crowder. Panel speakers include Stacey Jones, City of West Hollywood Planning Commissioner; Alana Roshay, Chair, City of West Hollywood Lesbian and Gay Advisory Board and Alexis Sanchez, Vice Chair, City of West Hollywood Transgender Advisory Board. The Conference features leadership workshops, advocacy training, and more offered live and on demand.
