On August 19th the Metro Planning and Programming Committee will receive an update and Metro staff recommendations on the Northern Extension of the Crenshaw/LAX Line—the rail project that will bring Metro Rail service to West Hollywood and surrounding neighborhoods. The Committee will receive an update on Metro’s Final Screening Study and Outreach Results and consider approving a contract for the environmental analysis necessary to get the project shovel-ready and eligible for state or federal funding or financing.
Official public comment can be submitted on the Metro website here during the meeting or by emailing the Metro Board Secretary Michelle Jackson at JacksonM@metro.net and referencing the Crenshaw North EIR Contract Authorization and meeting date. Written electronic comments will be read by the Metro Board Secretary during the meeting.
