Summary:

The City will present an informational webinar on the Temporary Moratorium on Evictions for Commercial Tenants Impacted by the COVID-19 Crisis on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 11 a.m. The webinar will be presented by City Staff and  Deputy City Attorney Lauren Langer.  It will provide all pertinent information regarding the application of the ordinance for both tenants and landlords. The webinar will also be archived on the City’s coronavirus information page located at www.weho.org/coronavirus  when the recording of the panel is finalized.

The West Hollywood City Council approved a temporary eviction moratorium for commercial tenants on April 6, 2020. This order is effective from March 16, 2020 to May 31, 2020. During this period, no commercial landlord is permitted to evict a tenant for nonpayment of rent if the tenant demonstrates a loss of income.
