Join JQ International for a powerful evening of storytelling and open panel discussion about LGBTQ+ & Ally identity in the Iranian community. This panel will feature LGBTQ+ and ally interfaith Iranians sharing their coming out journeys and stories of supporting LGBTQ+, raising awareness and advocating for full equality in the Persian community.

LGBTQ+ Persians of faith communities represent a triple minority often raised in a conservative environment resistant to change. JQ produces some of the only programing in the world specifically designed for the LGBTQ+ and ally Persian community at large. Attendees will gain invaluable insights into the struggles faced and successes realized by this growing population -- the largest in the world outside of Iran — and gain important tools to help support the LGBTQ+ people in their own lives. 

This event will occur in March 2020 during the month of Norooz, the Persian New Year, as JQ will be celebrating its 5th anniversary Persian Pride Month!
