Working with the City of West Hollywood's Arts Division to develop a future Art in Odd Places West Hollywood, Ed Woodham, founder and director of Art in Odd Places (New York City) will host a Public Intervention Workshop on November 19 from 10 am to 2 pm at Plummer Park's Great Hall in West Hollywood. The workshop is a space for artists to design potential interventions. Interventions may take the form of tours, tactical and site performance, temporal installations, video or sound projections, digital platforms, community involved projects, peer-to-peer platforms, print or online publication, or a street event. Ed welcomes artists with no prior public art experience, who are interested in moving from the traditional studio, gallery and theatre space into the urban arena.
