The City of West Hollywood takes a proactive approach to seismic safety. While no building is absolutely earthquake-proof, retrofitting buildings will save lives, protect property, and minimize damage in the event of a major earthquake.

The Seismic Resource Fair will provide residential and commercial property owners with a range of resources for seismic retrofitting in order to adhere to mandatory strengthening requirements for certain types of existing buildings.

City staff members and experts, such as structural engineers, contractors, and more, will be on-hand to answer questions and offer technical knowledge.
