The National Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles’s Advocacy Training Project will present, “How to Advocate for Legislation”. This workshop trains participants in how to effectively engage with elected officials and their staff members by covering grassroots advocacy and communications. The focus will be on the California state legislative process. Registration is $20/workshop or $110 for all six workshops ($10 discount). Attendees of all six workshops receive a certificate of program completion from the City of West Hollywood. There is no requirement to attend all workshops to take part in the program. Participation is open to people of all genders and sexual orientations. All workshops includes snacks and refreshments.
