DESCRIPTION:
The proposed project would involve the demolition of existing retail and residential buildings, and construction of a mixed-use building with retail space, restaurant, café, design showroom, medical office, lobby, and reception areas.  The building also includes four subterranean levels. The existing one-story Ray and Charles Eames-designed showroom (“Eames Building”), formerly occupied by Herman Miller, would be shored in place and preserved.
