Rent Stabilization & Housing Building Blocks: 2019 Landlord Basics Workshop

This session of the Rent Stabilization and Housing Division's Building Blocks series will provide Landlords with increased knowledge of the Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO), reasonable accommodations, and resources.  Topics will include just cause and no-fault evictions (when and how to proceed), prohibition against tenant harassment and available mediation services; pets, service dogs, therapy animals, available social services for low income seniors, Home Secure (no-cost safety and security devices for low income seniors), rental assistance, hoarding and bedbugs, reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act, unit transfers for mobility impaired tenants, and Aging in Place/Aging in Community 2020, a 5-Year Strategic Plan.
