Rent Stabilization & Housing Building Blocks: 2019 Tenant Advanced Workshop

This session of the Rent Stabilization and Housing Division's Building Blocks series will provide residents with increased knowledge of their protections and resources available under the Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO).  Topics will include eviction procedures, tenant harassment, mediation services, social services for low-income seniors, Home Secure (no-cost safety and security devices for low-income seniors), rental assistance, managing finances, hoarding and bedbug issues and assistance, reasonable accommodations under the Fair Housing Act, unit transfers for mobility impaired tenants, information on pets, service dogs, and therapy animals, and Aging in Place/Aging in Community 2020, a 5-Year Strategic Plan.
