Rent Stabilization & Housing Building Blocks: 2019 Tenant Basics Workshop

This session of the Rent Stabilization and Housing Division's Building Blocks series will provide tenants with a basic understanding of the Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO) and their basic rights and responsibilities. Topics will include unit re-registrations, limits on rent increases, security deposits, annual registration fee and pass through, minimum maintenance standards, the hearing process, loss of housing services and rent overcharges, noticing required before entering apartments, repairs, code compliance, temporary relocation, water conservation, being prepared for emergencies, and AirBnb and short-term rentals

There is no charge to attend. RSVP is not necessary.
