The Metropolitan Master Chorale performs Considering Matthew Shepard, an oratorio, on June 1 and 2, 2019 in Fiesta Hall. The story is one that resonates today and the music will leave an indelible mark on your heart. While the story could be viewed through the lens of hatred, misunderstanding and divisiveness, this oratorio shimmers with the spirit of inclusiveness as it explores the light and darkness, loss and grace we all hold in common. This music is explosive, rich in variety, and like all of the Metropolitan Master Chorale concerts, this is an experience that will not soon be forgotten because of the Chorale's musical skills and the Artistic Director's ability to bring the audience into every song. Presented during the City's One City One Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival (www.weho.org/pride).
