This session of the Rent Stabilization and Housing Division’s Building Blocks series will provide landlords with an increased understanding of their basic rights and responsibilities under the Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO). Topics will include unit re-registrations, limits on rent increases, security deposits, annual registration fee and pass through, property management, minimum maintenance standards, housing services, the hearing process, avoiding rent reductions and rent overcharges, repairs, code compliance, temporary relocation, requirements for legal entry, preparing for emergencies and disasters, reducing water use, programs and incentives, and AirBnB and short-term rentals.
No charge to attend. RSVP is not necessary.
