The City of West Hollywood’s Arts Division and Book Soup will present a WeHo Reads event featuring author and performer Lorna Luft on Friday, September 21, at 7:00 p.m. in the West Hollywood Park Public Meeting Room/City Council Chambers, 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90069.
Lorna Luft is an American television, stage, and film actress and singer. She is the daughter of singer and actress Judy Garland and producer Sidney Luft, and half-sister to singer and actress Liza Minnelli. Luft is the co-author (with film historian Jeffrey Vance) of the 2018 book, A Star Is Born: Judy Garland and the Film That Got Away, which she describes as "a vivid account of the film classic's production, loss, and reclamation".
The evening will include a book signing, with books for sale by Book Soup. Tickets for this event ($29+tax) are available for sale from Book Soup at www.booksoup.com and include one copy of the book.
