The Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival presents Taking Pride! Join us for a program featuring extraordinary past LAWTF artists: Ingrid Graham performs “Artemis”, a dance piece named after the Greek goddess of wilderness and is a tribute to the goddess of nature that exists within us all; Lindsay Halladay AKA “The Lindz” is a poet who explores relationship-related, socially conscious, goofy, insightful, sardonic, and riotous performance poetry; Laura James performs “Ms. Furr and Ms. Skeene” by Gertrude Stein, which explores the relationship of a lesbian couple at a less tolerant time in history; and Teresa Willis, performs “Eenie Meenie” in which a young women recounts memories about homophobia, race, and being gay.
