The Hollywood Chapter National Organization for Women and the City of West Hollywood will celebrate Women's History Month by presenting with guest speakers Lydia Ruyle, the Author of "Goddess Icons Spirit Banners of the Divine Feminine" and scholar Emeritus on the Visual Arts Faculty of the University of Northern Colorado.  Lydia Ruyle will trace the transformation of goddesses from leading participants in origin stories to fierce divinities bearing goddess daughters to beings born of men and giving birth to male gods.  Goddess icons spirit banners will be on display and her books, cards, and small flags will be available for purchase.
