Event sponsored by the City of West Hollywood’s Senior Activity Department and the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles. Diane Schneider, Director of Senior Nutrition Services for Jewish Family Service, will explain the important benefits of eating seasonally and locally grown produce. Diane will provide a demonstration on how to prepare fresh fruits of the season. All participants will share the fresh fruit prepared in front of them and receive written information on the day’s bounty! Admission is free. Simultaneous translation in Russian will be available.
