The City of West Hollywood presents a new exhibition at the West Hollywood Library on view through October 17, 2018. The exhibition features images which photographer Wayne Shimabukuro took of Don Bachardy and Christopher Isherwood over the course of several decades, alongside original artworks by Don Bachardy. Isherwood, the famous novelist, and Bachardy, a respected portrait artist, were a couple for over 30 years until Isherwood’s death and lived together on Adelaide Drive in Santa Monica, which provides the name of the exhibition, “Adelaide Drive.”
Please join us for a reception on May 11, 2018 from 7-9 pm. Exhibition comments will take place at 7:45 pm.
The exhibit will be on view at the West Hollywood Library, 625 N. San Vicente Blvd., during regular library operating hours until October 17, 2018. M-Th (11am-7pm); Fr-Sa(10am-6pm); Su (12pm-4pm); closed holidays.
