Since 1993, the City of West Hollywood has presented Rainbow Key Awards to people and groups who have made outstanding contributions to West Hollywood’s Gay and Lesbian community. The honorees are recommended by the Lesbian and Gay Advisory Board, and approved by the City Council. This year the honorees are:

                Rudy Akbarian – transgender member of US Army, mentor to other Trans service members

                Kathy Griffin – ally and fierce advocate, 25-year fundraiser for Alliance for Housing and Healing

                Matt Palazzolo – co-founder of Equal Roots, longtime member of Lesbian and Gay Advisory Board

                Brian Pendleton – activist, entrepreneur, philanthropist, founder of CauseForce

                Bamby Salcedo – Trans activist, leader in health education and HIV prevention

                Elizabeth Savage – longtime activist, public servant, leader for LGBT rights, affordable housing

This is an open public meeting. There is no charge. No RSVP is required.

Parking is in the Five-Story Parking Garage adjacent to the City Council Chambers.  Validation for parking will be available.
