The City of West Hollywood’s HUMAN RIGHTS SPEAKERS SERIES presents Human Rights and Civil Liberties: One Year After the Inauguration.
The panel will feature representatives from leading advocacy groups discussing how the Trump Administration’s policies and rhetoric have impacted human rights and civil liberties, and provide their perspective on what is next for the resistance. Call to Action dessert reception will follow the event, catered by La Conversation Cafe, and validated parking will be available in the adjacent 5-story structure.
Guest Speakers include: Salam Al-Marayati, President, Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC); Maria Sjodin, Deputy Executive Director, OutRight Action International (formerly the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission); Sue Dunlap, President and CEO, Planned Parenthood Los Angeles.
