Join the City of West Hollywood and the National Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles for Roe at 45: When Rights  ≠  Access, commemorating the 45^th Anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade which legalized abortion in the United States.  The focus of the event will be on engaging, educating and activating local advocates to support and protect reproductive rights both locally and nationally.  Special guest speaker: Dr. Willie J. Parker, noted OB/GYN and reproductive justice advocate who was recently honored by the United Nations Office of Human Rights. Co-sponsored by the City of West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board, Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, ACLU of Southern California, California Coalition for Reproductive Choice, Black Women For Wellness, Hollywood Chapter of the National Organization for Women, LA For Choice and Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.
