DESCRIPTION: Please join the City of West Hollywood's WeHo Arts program and the West Hollywood Library for the 2017 Winter Sounds Free Concert Series, which will take place indoors in the City Council Chambers at the West Hollywood Library (625 N. San Vicente Blvd.). The December 2 concert is a special holiday jazz concert with Jennifer Leitham. Leitham's over 40 year career has taken her to the finest concert halls around the world, playing with the likes of Mel Torme, Doc Severinsen, Peggy Lee, k.d. lang and countless other music world greats. With 10 recordings of her own, she has achieved much critical acclaim. The documentary film about her life and gender transition from male to female, "I Stand Corrected" won 11 best film awards at film festivals around the world in 2012.
