On October
8, 2017, JQ International will host “Today’s Teens: Voices of Queer
Youth.” This one-of-a kind program will
provide a forum for open and honest discussion about LGBTQ teens, both Jewish and non-Jewish and the
unique challenges they face as they navigate these transformative years. This panel event, which will include
participation from other teen
organizations and Los Angeles-area synagogues, continues the Teen JQSA’s
mission to serve as an educational forum for LGBTQ and ally teens, provide safe
social spaces, create lasting friendships, and inspire otherwise at-risk teens
to live full and confident lives.
