Join West Hollywood artist and icon, Frances Taylor Davis, in conversation with fellow WeHo resident Tripp Mahan, Vice President of Global Experiences for Beautycon Media.  Frances Taylor studied dance with the famed Katherine Dunham and became the first black ballerina to dance with the Paris Opera Ballet.  In 1958, during her successful dance career, she married Miles Davis, one of the most influential and acclaimed figures in the history of jazz and 20^th century music.    Following the end of her tumultuous marriage, Ms. Davis was the hostess at the famed Roy’s Restaurant where she became known as “the Diva.”  Ms. Davis will share stories from her storied career, as well as adventures and encounters as the “hostess with the mostess” at Le Dome, Chasen’s and the Sunset Strip Hamburger Hamlet.
