Pamela M. Lee’s talk will investigate some of the forces at work in the transition to a new era, one driven in part by a cadre of thinkers charged with conceptualizing the future of that new world, and how their work dramatically influenced art and aesthetics. The CalArts WHAP! Lecture series is organized by the Cal Arts MA Aesthetics and Politics program and supported in part by the City of West Hollywood's WeHo Arts program (www.weho.org/arts).
