The City of West Hollywood’s Be Well WeHo program invites enrollment in the September Mindfulness Series lecture Stress Reduction. Stress is an inevitable part of our daily life experiences that can dramatically impact our health and well-being. It’s time to take charge! During this class participants will learn variety of techniques to detect and reduce their stressors to create a positive outcome.
The workshop will be led by Maggie Thomas. Ms. Thomas is a licensed clinical social worker for Huntington Hospital and has a private therapy practice. She has taught at Pasadena City College as an adjunct instructor and has given talks at numerous organizations and conferences, including Huntington Hospital, Pasadena City Library, and the Conference on Aging. Ms.Thomas is also a Reiki Master and Shamanic practitioner.
