Co-sponsored by the City of West Hollywood, Thrive Tribe Foundation presents a U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable) Prevention Access Campaign seminar. Bruce Richman will conduct the program on advances in the science of HIV medication. The seminar will discuss data from the medical community and how it is relayed into the awareness of people living with HIV. Because this is the first time it can be said with 100% confidence that an individual with an undetectable viral load, who is adherent to their medications, has a 0% likelihood of transmitting HIV. This will give the HIV community a new opportunity to lead normal lives and see an end to the epidemic.
This is an open public meeting. There is no charge. No RSVP is required.
Parking will be validated for the Five-Story Parking Structure adjacent to the City Council Chambers. The street address of the location is 625 North San Vicente Boulevard, 90069. This is also the address to use for cab pickup/drop-off, rideshares, etc.
