Puppet Theater on Wheels: Karlsson on the Roof (in English)

Funded by the City of West Hollywood through WeHo Arts, these puppet shows highlight aspects of Eastern European culture and are geared towards children and parents. Each Russian language performance at 11 am is followed by an English language performance at 12:15 pm.  Admission is free. http://weho.org/residents/puppet-theatre-on-wheels-2017.

Karlsson is a short, stocky and overconfident man. He lives in a small house hidden behind a chimney on the roof of a very ordinary apartment, on a very ordinary street in Stockholm. When Karlsson pushes a button on his stomach, it starts a clever little propeller on his back, allowing him to fly. Karlsson is the best at everything, at least according to him. But what he’s best at is being a playmate to his young friend.
