Opening reception for the exhibition “In West Hollywood,” works by Ramiro Gomez and David Feldman. Gomez’s work is informed by the workers who tend the gardens and care for children but are often invisible to the outer world. Feldman has chronicled the work of Gomez through photography and film. Their combined efforts make for a powerful statement of the impact of Latin America on Los Angeles art and culture. The exhibition also serves as a kick-off to the City of West Hollywood’s celebration of The Getty’s Pacific Standard Time: Los Angeles/Latin America. Sponsored by the City of West Hollywood's WeHo Arts program. RSVP at mche@weho.org
