Join us for light refreshments, meet the festival artists and intensive students, and learn how you can join us onstage during the closing number of the festival performance series!  Jessica Lynn Harper will teach easy-to-learn choreography from her dance “Brighter” that will close the festival shows Aug 25th and 26th- participants who learn the choreography at the reception will be invited to join performers onstage in “Flash Mob” style during the last 2 minutes of the piece during the show!  No dance experience necessary, and all are welcome.  The piece “Brighter” embodies the mission of WHDF in celebrating authenticity, identity and generosity of spirit with fun and accessible dance movements that encourage us all to wave our freak flag and not take ourselves too seriously :)  The choreography session will begin at 5:00pm, and participants will receive easy instructions on how join us for the flash mob celebrating the West Hollywood community.  For more information, visit www.multiplexdance.org/whdf-community-workshops.
