Location: Andaz Hotel, Mezzanine Level, 8401 Sunset Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90069
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Description: Nearly half of residents in City of West Hollywood are under the age of 40. Yet many younger people in the city are not actively engaged in local decision-making. The ‘NextGen’ is passionate about a myriad of issues, yet this age group is disproportionately underrepresented at all levels of governmental leadership, as well as in the voting electorate. Join us for an evening at the Andaz Hotel to spark new ideas and connections that will ignite civic impact for the City’s next generation. The event is aimed at NextGen community members, but it’s open to everyone. There will be inspiring speakers, illuminating conversations, and (of course!) a DJ, food, and drinks. The event will highlight opportunities to get involved in City Advisory Boards and Commissions, to get connected through the City’s informative social media, and to work or do business with the City.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Kate Mayerson, Innovation Analyst at (323) 848-6464 or kmayerson@weho.org.
