ONE Archives LGBTQ History Panel Displays

The City of West Hollywood through One City One Pride has sponsored two outdoor exhibitions of LGBTQ History Panels from ONE Archives. These will be displayed during the month of June on construction fencing surrounding West Hollywood Park. 647 N. San Vicente Blvd. Free to attend. www.weho.org/pride

  • The History of the LGBTQ Civil Rights Movement explores the journey of the movement from World War II to present day.
  • Heroes of the LGBTQ Civil Rights Movement highlights the remarkable LGBTQ pioneers such as Christine Jorgensen, one of the first to undergo gender reassignment surgery; Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon who co-founded the Daughters of Bilitis; and Bayard Rustin, a civil rights activist who worked alongside Martin Luther King.
