The City of West Hollywood through One City One Pride has sponsored two outdoor exhibitions of LGBTQ History Panels from ONE Archives. • The History of the LGBTQ Civil Rights Movement explores the journey of the movement from World War II to present day.
• Heroes of the LGBTQ Civil Rights Movement highlights the remarkable LGBTQ pioneers such as Christine Jorgensen, one of the first to undergo gender reassignment surgery; Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon who co-founded the Daughters of Bilitis; and Bayard Rustin, a civil rights activist who worked alongside Martin Luther King.
