A community forum focused on the impacts of the State’s Ellis Act on West Hollywood. The forum is free and parking will be validated. It will feature a panel of experts on the State’s Ellis Act—legislation that allows landlords to evict tenants as they exit the rental business. Assemblymember Richard Bloom, who represents the 50th District of the California State Assembly and Senator Ben Allen, who represents the 26th District of the California Senate will be in attendance. Councilmember John D’Amico, who authored a motion to produce this forum, and other members of the West Hollywood City Council will also participate in the discussion.
